Recent police reports and arrests in Fredericksburg:
FRAUD:
CVS, 591 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 6/4 9:45 pm. A manager reported that a male subject took a bag of trash out of the trashcan outside the store. A short time later, the same male came inside and selected items from the shelves, then presented those items to the store cashier for a cash refund. When asked for a receipt, the male presented a receipt that he had found inside the trash bag. When the manager realized what had occurred, she attempted to detain the subject in the parking lot, but he left before police arrived. The suspect, a white male in his 40’s, fled in a maroon Dodge four-door sedan that was driven by another white male of the same general age. The investigation is ongoing.
1700 block Charles St, 6/2 1:30 pm. A resident reported that two young men came to her door and presented themselves as employees of a local tree service company. The resident agreed to pay them in cash for cutting some tree branches, but when she was dissatisfied with the work and called the number on the business card that she had been given, it was discovered that the subjects had lied about their identities and their affiliation with the company. The suspects were described as both white males in their 20’s, clean shaven, and driving a white Dodge Ram pickup truck. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
TGI Friday’s, 1160 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 6/4 11:10 pm. An employee reported that two male subjects left the restaurant without paying their bill. No known suspects at this time.
VANDALISM:
3300 block Fall Hill Ave, 6/3 1:15 pm – 2:30 pm. A Stafford resident reported that the window on her vehicle was smashed while the vehicle was parked in the lot next to the canal path. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
ARRESTS:
Carolisa Brown-Stone, 46, of Fredericksburg was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
Teresa Stottlemyer, 51, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Miguel Lynch, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Toya Allen, 19, of Suitland, Maryland was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Ashlee Brown-Stone, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for possession of marijuana.
