Daily Crime Report 12/29/2011

Recent police incidents and arrests in Fredericksburg:

BURGLARY:

100 block Hughey Ct, 12/24 12:00 pm – 12/26 2:00 pm.  A resident reported that an unknown person entered her home and stole a television, computer, and other items of value.  There was no sign of forced entry to the residence.  The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

Home Depot, 1201 Gateway Blvd, 12/21 – 12/22 9:00 am.  A Spotsylvania resident reported that a license plate was stolen from her vehicle.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Regal Cinemas, 3301 Plank Rd, 12/28 10:00 pm – 12/29 12:10 am.  A patron reported that an iPod, GPS, and other items of value were stolen from his unsecured vehicle in the parking lot.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Regal Cinemas, 3301 Plank Rd, 12/28 10:30 pm – 12/29 12:15 am.  A patron reported that a Blackberry, GPS, and other items of value were stolen from his unsecured vehicle in the parking lot.   No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VANDALISM:

500 block George St, 12/27 10:30 pm – 12/28 6:00 am.  A resident reported that the holiday lights were pulled down from the tree and bushes in his front yard.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

800-900 block Caroline St, 12/27 5:30 pm – 12/28 8:00 am.  A business owner reported that the holiday garland and decorations were pulled down from his store front and damaged. Similar acts of vandalism were found at various locations in the downtown area.  The investigation is ongoing.

1400 block Prince Edward St, 12/26 3:30 pm – 12/28 9:40 am.  A resident reported that the passenger side mirror on her vehicle was forcibly removed, and the responding officer found two additional vehicles in the 600 block of Charlotte St that each had a side mirror broken from the mounting.   No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:

James Groom, 40, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.  

Brittany Bowie, 21, of Stafford was arrested for possession of schedule IV narcotics, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, and shoplifting from Walmart.

Kelsie Dofflemyer, 21, of Stafford was arrested for conspiracy to commit shoplifting and shoplifting from Walmart.

Juvenile female, 17, was arrested for shoplifting from Target.
