Daily Crime Report 12/27/2011

Recent police incidents and arrests in Fredericksburg:

BURGLARY:

Thompson’s Florist, 2089 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 12/22 9:00 pm – 12/23 8:15 am.  The owner reported that an unknown person entered the business and stole the cash register drawer and a computer monitor.  Forced entry was apparently made by breaking a deadbolt lock on the rear door.  The investigation is ongoing.

1200 block Stafford Ave, 12/26 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm.  A resident reported that her teenage son was in his upstairs bedroom when an unknown male subject opened the bedroom door and startled him.  The unknown subject then ran from the house.  It was discovered that the suspect had rummaged through drawers in a first floor bedroom and placed items of value on the bed, but apparently left the items behind when he encountered the juvenile and fled from the scene.  The suspect was described as a white male in his late teens or early 20’s, approximately 5’10” and medium build with short dark hair and a full beard.  The investigation is ongoing.

800 block College Ave, 12/21 3:30 pm – 12/22 2:10 pm.  A resident reported that she returned home and found that all of the presents under the tree had been unwrapped and opened.  A broken window was later discovered by responding police officers.  Nothing was stolen from the home.  The investigation is ongoing. 

 LARCENY:

 Olive Garden, 2811 Plank Rd, 12/22 9:30 pm.  An employee reported that a window was broken out of his vehicle and a quantity of cash was stolen from the center console.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 200 block Riverside Manor Blvd, 12/20 – 12/23 9:00 am.  A resident reported that two bicycles and a skateboard were stolen from the back porch.  No suspects or witnesses at this time.

 VANDALISM:

 F.W. Sullivans, 409 William St, 12/26 1:50 am.  The manager reported that the front door glass was broken by four male subjects who were involved in a physical altercation at the entrance.  The subjects left the scene prior to police arrival.  No known suspects at this time.

 DUI ARRESTS:

 Wayne Miller, 28, of Richmond was arrested in the 2600 block of Princess Anne St.

 Norman Vest, 37, of Spotsylvania was arrested in the 1300 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy.

 Johnaria White, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested in the 1000 block of Dixon St.

 ARRESTS:

 Florence Carter, 59, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing.

 Deanna Murray, 38, of Burke was arrested for shoplifting from Target.

 Carlin Wilkins, 23, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.

 Octavious Douglas, 25, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.

 Marilyn Brown, 55, of no fixed address was arrested for trespassing.

 David Latson, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

 Peter Tranchitella, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

 Federico Lopez Ramirez, 28, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Kohls.

 Bond Thompson, 53, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication after being declared a habitual drunkard.

 Beau Rawlings, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

 Angela Rector, 22, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

 Robyn Warr, 36, of Ruther Glen was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

 Joshua Franklin, 18, of Fredericksburg was arrested for trespassing.

 Bryon Charles, 21, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

 Andre Mcfail, 38, of Arlington was arrested for public intoxication.   

 Alden Rogers, 49, of no fixed address was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

 Rashid Ali, 34, of Woodbridge was arrested for public intoxication.

 Michael David Miller, 18, of Locust Grove was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
