Teen reports strong arm robbery

1600 block Saunders Dr, 9/19 10:25 pm.  A 17-year-old resident reported that he was walking home from a friend’s house when a male subject called out to him.   The victim walked over to talk to the subject and a second male approached.

The two unknown males started asking for directions; one of the suspects then got behind the victim and put him in a headlock while the other searched his pockets.  The suspects stole the victim’s cell phone and asked for money, but they released him after realizing he didn’t have any cash.  The suspects left the area on foot.  The victim was not injured.

The suspects were described as both in their late teens or early 20’s.  One was a tall and thin dark-skinned black male wearing a dark green hoodie and jeans.  The second suspect was a Hispanic male of average height and with crew cut hair, wearing a black hoodie and jeans.  The investigation is ongoing.
