Law Enforcement United Fundraiser

In tribute to Fredericksburg Officer Todd Bahr, who was killed in the line of duty in 2008, members of the Fredericksburg Police Department and Fredericksburg Sheriff’s Office participate in the Law Enforcement United Bike Tour to honor and remember fallen police officers and their survivors.

LE United Tour 2011

Each May, the Fredericksburg Team joins over 400 participants from across the country, riding for three consecutive days from Chesapeake, Virginia to the Pentagon as one of the highlighted events during National Police Week.  Throughout the year, riders on the team must each raise a minimum of $1250, and support crew members must each contribute $625 to support the Concerns of Police Survivors and the Officer Down Memorial Page.

Our first fundraiser for next year’s tour will take place this Friday, July 15 at Hard Times Cafe in the city.  Diners who wish to support Law Enforcement United need to present this flyer to their server, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Fredericksburg team.  We thank you for your help!
