You won’t miss this year’s Marine Corps Historic Half runners
Check out this year’s participant shirt for the Marine Corps Historic Half. I’ll describe it as fuchsia. Neon colors have been in vogue for runners – the yellow/green color and then orange. Perhaps this is the latest.
Regardless, Historic Half runners won’t easily be missed in these shirts as they travel the course or run on their own following Sunday’s seventh Marine Corps Historic Half.
I visited the Expo Center on Thursday as Marine Corps Marathon officials and some vendors were starting to set up.
The official vendor of the Marine Corps Historic Half has some nice memorabilia. Again, you can find glasses with 13.1 on them and plenty of options for T-shirts, jackets, shorts, caps and duffel bags.
The T-shirt that caught my eye is a new one about the challenge of now-infamous Hospital Hill, an experience runners in the half marathon, the Historic 10K and the Semper Fred 5K all will encounter.
You can check out full details of activities in Marine Corps Historic Half weekend in my earlier report.
