Fredericksburg council debated its proposed additions to the budget this evening

Below is a list of items the Fredericksburg City Council discussed during this evening’s budget work session. They have not yet decided which will get funded but the list was whittled down a bit during the meeting that lasted about 90 minutes.

Council is currently hearing from city residents about the proposed real estate tax rate increase of 6 cents per $100 of assessed value for the budget that begins on July 1.
