Council appoints new member to Arts Commission
The City Council appointed Stephen Graham to the Fredericksburg Arts Commission Tuesday night.
Graham was one of four applicants for the open seat. The other three applicants were Stephen Cameli, William Mason and Crystal Rodrigue.
He is a freelance graphic and web designer and photographer, according to his website.
He will be the commission’s eleventh member. The commission is made up of two city council members (George Solley and Kerry Devine), one employee of the city’s tourism and economic development department (Julie Perry), four at-large members who do not need to live in the city but must maintain an art studio or place of business related to the arts within the city, and four members who are part of organizations existing in the city which develop projects in the arts.
The commission meets at 7 p.m. the first Thursday of each month in the second floor conference room of City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St. Its next meeting is March 7.
