Council to discuss results of organizational study in work session
At Tuesday’s work session, the Fredericksburg City Council will learn the results of an organizational review of the city’s functions.
The City Council authorized the study to be performed by Novak Consulting in August for $72,500.
The purpose was to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the city’s programs and services and includes all the departments under the City Council’s control. This does not include schools, social services or the operations of constitutional officers. The public works department also won’t be included in the review because a study was recently completed on the water and sewer management operations.
The work session begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the conference room on the second floor of City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.
