Unhappy with your reassessment?
Property owners unhappy with the reassessed values of their homes (this was done earlier this year) may appeal at a series of Board of Equalization meetings throughout October and November.
The Board of Equalization will meet the following days and times in City Hall:
Tues., Oct.23 1:30 p.m. Room 214
Thurs., Oct.25 9 a.m. Room 214
Tues., Nov.13 9 a.m. Room 214
Wed., Nov. 14 4 p.m. Room 214
Wed., Nov. 28 2 p.m. Room 214
Before attending a meeting, property owners who want to appeal need to fill out a form here and return it to the commissioner of the revenue’s office.
The deadline is Oct. 19, according to the city’s website.
