Fredericksburg City Manager Beverly Cameron and his staff will get their hands dirty Friday. Literally.
Cameron and his staff will wash cars at the Dorothy Hart Community Center (at 408 Canal St.) to raise money for the Rappahannock United Way. The fundraiser is part of the city’s workplace United Way Campaign, Cameron said. Several department heads and deputy department heads will join in on the fun.
The car wash will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
Revised update:This will be NOT be part of the Rappahannock United Way’s Day of Caring, it just happens to be the same day.
Friday is the day of caring for Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania and Stafford. September 20 is the day for Caroline County and September is the day for King George County.
