If you’ve got old clothes hanging in your closet that you never wear anymore, an event being held Thursday night may be a good chance to get rid of them for a good cause.
At the Olde Silk Mill (at 1707 Princess Anne Street), there will be a clothing swap on Thursday at 6 p.m. For a $10 admission fee, you can bring new or gently used clothing to swap with others. The admission fee will benefit the American Cancer Society: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
The organizers are asking that clothes be dropped off until 3 p.m. the day of the event, but will accept them until the event begins.
You can learn more on the event’s Facebook page or email clothingswapfred@gmail.com.
