Planning Commission defers action on zoning in railroad district
The Fredericksburg Planning Commission deferred action on a zoning text amendment that would:
-expand the boundaries of the railroad station overlay district
-reduce the maximum height for for building by right to 40 feet instead of 50 feet; and make 50 feet height allowed by special-use permit
-and delete a requirement for new curb cuts.
This action will be deferred to the August 8 meeting.
Several residents have expressed concerns over high buildings being allowed near a residential neighborhood.
