Planning commission approves Amelia Square plans
The Fredericksburg Planning Commission Wednesday night approved plans for the Amelia Square development.
The commission approved the consolidation and re-subdivision of land for the high-end townhomes planned for the space where Fredericksburg Hardware used to be between Amelia and William streets.
There will be 23 parcels of land divided into 20 parcels for townhomes and three parcels for other uses.
Site work is expected to start shortly after the project gets approval from the City Council.
