Fredericksburg public works crews will collect debris from the recent storms at no charge until Sunday, July 15, according to a press release.
Residents may place moderate quantities of tree debris at the curb or shoulder. If you are removing entire trees or large portions, those should not be placed on the curb.
Residents should not place debris where it will block sidewalks, fire hydrants or drainage inlets. The debris from trees should also not be mixed with other debris. Tree debris will not be collected during regular trash pickup.
Anyone can arrange for special collection of small quantities of debris placed out after July 15 by calling the Department of Public Works at 540/372-1023.
