Follow @fxbgcitybeatCity to mail out new voter cards this week
Voters in districts affected by the redistricting changes will receive new voter information cards next week, according to a news release from Fredericksburg Voter Registrar Juanita Pitchford.
The city’s registrar’s office and the state board of elections will start sending the new cards this week and voters should receive them by the middle of next week.
If your voter information has not changed, such as polling place or election district, then you may not receive a new card.
If you get a new card, you should get rid of your old card.
Anyone with questions can contact the voter registrar at 540-372-1030 or the state board of elections at 804-864-8901.
You can also visit this website to find out about your voter registration information.
Stay tuned to fredericksburg.com and the FLS for the Voter’s Guide, which will tell you everything you need to know about each candidate and each election.
