Planning Commission reverses position on Calvary Christian Center
UPDATE AFTER MEETING: The Planning Commisssion voted 5-1 to deny Calvary Christian Center a special-use permit. (Corrected from a previous version)
At this afternoon’s Planning Commission meeting, city staff will recommend denial of the special-use permit to Calvary Christian Center for a day school.
After a heated discussion between the applicant (Pastor Michael Hirsch) and City Council members over licensing at last week’s City Council meeting, city staff reviewed public records.
