School leaders react to the mayor’s criticisms
After the mayor criticized the school admninistration at Tuesday’s City Council meeting, I spoke to the superintendent and the chairwoman of the school board to give them a chance to respond. I also spoke to the mayor again. You can read the full story in today’s paper or

On an unrelated note, it’s “take your child to work day.” (No, I don’t have any children, so I didn’t bring one to the paper.) I did, however, go to work with my mom and other various members of my family for years. Did you bring your child to work today? Or maybe you have memories of going with your parents.
