LibertyTown performance agreement, and a note about Capital Ale
Today’s story also mentioned that the EDA had agreed to spend up to $1,050 to help with a charity St. Patrick’s Day event Capital Ale House is organizing downtown. Bill Freehling wrote more about that event here. I didn’t have room to get into it in the paper, but that money is meant to encourage other downtown businesses to participate in the event. Capital Ale is asking for a $70 fee from participating businesses to help pay for advertising costs associated with the event. The EDA agreed to pay half of any downtown business’s $70 fee to encourage them to get on board.
