The City Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda are a hearing on a management plan for the city’s easement-protected river holdings, and a visit from Sen. Edd Houck, who this time last year gave a sobering presentation about the state budget.

Fredericksburg’s economic development department has begun a quarterly newsletter that includes information on building permits, sales tax collections, new business licenses, EDA grant awards and other local business news.
