Kenmore/William closure delayed one day

You’ve still got about 16 hours left to get your fix of driving through the intersection of William Street and Kenmore Avenue. That intersection was supposed to close this morning for two weeks of sewer work, but Public Works Director Doug Fawcett reports that the detour signs for the area weren’t available until this afternoon. The closure has been postponed until 9 a.m. Wednesday (that’s tomorrow).

Care to write a story about cars speeding on residential streets in the City?
Visit Hanover st. between Prince Edward and Princess Anne. The closing of the William Kenmore intersection should juice things up nicely. 35, 45 50 mph speeds are pretty common. Couple a times a week we have a near miss collision with cars turning from Charles st. Once a day a care turns right from Charles going the wrong way up Hanover. It is a hoot.
