What you see above is the bowl that will serve as the amphitheater in the completed riverfront park. You’d just better hope that the grading that’s been done here over the past few weeks scrubbed away all the various substances that dripped down from the Wings deck over the years. Senior City Planner Erik Nelson tells me the construction work on this initial phase of the riverfront park could be completed within a week.
