Rain, rain, go away…

That’s what the organizers of the Celebrate Virginia Live concert series are feeling right now. Here’s our story from today’s business section about how the series has been doing. Rain has forced the postponement of the Dark Star Orchestra show that had been planned for Friday night. Stay tuned for details on when the show will be rescheduled. If you’ve been to the concerts, join in the discussion below the story about what you’ve liked, and what you’d like to see, and hope there’s more weather in the future like the night of the Toad the Wet Sprocket show. My view of the show is in the picture at left.

On another weather-related note, city residents reported seeing some large hail during yesterday evening’s storms. I didn’t get any out where I was in Spotsylvania (although there was apparently some in the county, as shown in this video), but  in the city, blogger Bryan Metts posted this video of the hail outside Gold’s Gym on his InTheBurg blog.
