Joe Young a finalist for America’s Most Wanted All-Star award
All the e-mails that went around asking local residents to vote for Fredericksburg Police Officer Joe Young as a finalist for this award for his actions on the night that Officer Todd Bahr was killed apparently did the trick.
Young was selected as the seventh of eight finalists for the award. A crew from AMW will be filming interviews with Young and Chief David Nye in Fredericksburg tomorrow, according to city police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe.
The filming is for a show on all the finalists that will air sometime in April (We’ll let you know when.). After that airs, voting will open back up to choose a winner from among the finalists.
