Busted by AutoChalk
I just got an officewide voice mail warning newsroom employees at The Free Lance-Star not to park longer than the posted time limits on Amelia Street. It seems the paper got two warnings generated by the AutoChalk parking enforcement vehicle (known to others as robo-cop and other names which I cannot print here) for company vehicles parked longer than the two-hour time limit on Amelia Street. So at least up here at the paper, it looks like AutoChalk might spark some parking behavior changes. Things might not sink in fully until next month, though, when police stop issuing warnings and start sending home tickets with fees attached.
