Wintry Mixup
The icy weather has scrambled the city government schedule a bit. A few changes:
- The City Council meeting that was supposed to happen Feb. 13 will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m. The council will also hold the work session on hiring a river steward that day at 6 p.m. At that meeting, they’ll also get an update on plans for the Silver Companies’ Celebrate Virginia development.
- The downtown parking discussion that the Planning Commission and City Council were supposed to have on Feb. 20 has been moved to March 6.
- The Planning Commission public hearings that were supposed to happen Feb. 14 will be moved to March 14.
