Superintendent search in King George

You won’t get a vote, American-Idol style, but you can still have a say in the new superintendent for King George County schools.

The King George County School Board is now seeking public input on its search for a new superintendent. School Board members want to know what you want in the next school leader.

You can take a survey here. Copies are also available at the Smoot Library and the King George County YMCA.

A public hearing will be held Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. at the King George County School Board office, 9100 St. Anthony’s Road.

The School Board hopes to have a new superintendent in place by July 1.
