King George School Board picks new leaders
Tonight was the first meeting of 2012 for the King George County School Board. They chose new leadership: Mike Rose is the chairman and John Davis the vice chairman. Three of the five members were just elected in the fall.
Tonight’s meeting was mainly organizational, and the board selected appointees. John Davis will represent the county in the Virginia School Board Association. Rick Randall will be the delegate for the Chesapeake Governor School and Ken Novell for the Commonwealth Governor School.
Members also approved the meeting calendar. The next meeting will be Jan. 9. At 5 p.m., Superintendent
