King George School Board could name interim superintendent tomorrow
The King George County School Board hopes to name an interim superintendent tomorrow, Chairwoman Renee Parker told me today.
The School Board will be interviewing three candidates behind closed doors tomorrow.
The interim superintendent will likely serve from January until June 30, Parker said. Current Superintendent Candace Brown is retiring at the end of December.
The School Board is scheduled to begin its search for a new superintendent in January, when three new members take office. If all goes as planned, the permanent superintendent will start July 1.
