Stafford School Board scheduled to approve budget Monday
The Stafford County School Board is scheduled to have a budget work session on Monday at 3 p.m. in the Alvin York Bandy Administrative Complex, 31 Stafford Ave. Board members are scheduled to vote on the division’s 2010-11 spending plan after the work session. During the public comment portion of last night’s School Board meeting, a number of school administrators spoke about the importance of their jobs. They encouraged the School Board to approve Superintendent David Sawyer’s proposed budget, which keeps all administrative positions. You can check out their comments here. At a recent work session, the School Board discussed eliminating the office of resource development, as well as sending 17 instructional coordinators back to the classroom.
