Public works to hire students as summer workers
The public works division and the department of public utilities will hire five temporary workers for the summer.
Four workers will be hired in the public works division and one in utilities. The primary duties are grass-cutting and facility maintenance.
The jobs are open to high school and college students at least 15 years old.
The pay rate is $7.25 per hour, 32 hours per week for up to eight weeks.
To be considered for employment, students must submit a completed application to Human Resources Manager Pam Viera at P.O. Box 447 Bowling Green, Va 22427 or in person at 212 N. Main St.
