Jeff Sili to hold Bowling Green District meeting

Bowling Green Supervisor Jeff Sili will hold a constituent meeting Thursday, Nov. 21 at Sparta Baptist Church.

Sili will serve dinner at 6 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

At 6:30 p.m., LTC Peter E. Dargle, Commander Fort A.P. Hill, will discuss the latest happenings at Fort A.P. Hill.

At 7 p.mSili will discuss topics such as the upcoming budget for fiscal 2015, present a report from the regional business development summit and what it means to the district and Caroline, the comprehensive plan and special exceptions. Western Caroline District Jeff Black will also be at the meeting to present a power point on the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission and the impact potential on Caroline. (Supervisors have been discussing this possibility for a few months now.)

The church is located at  24032 Sparta Road.

Sili asks that anyone who wishes to attend the free dinner prior to the meeting should RSVP to 804-633-9084 by November 19.

    Will they tell us where and when will the water problems in the county will be solved? How many millions? When will the sewer systems be completed and at how many millions of dollars. When will the county solve the paving and sewer system at the sports complex that’s has never been done from day one? Why has it not been closed down or their BOND money taken from them ? If we have bonds on projects not completed why have we not pulled their bonds ? Who is paying for the YMCA is it the taxpayers? If we owe between 5-8 million on the YMCA what is the county’s way to pay this so we don’t lose the school the county has up for the YMCA? Now the school bond pass where are the monies coming from. Do we have the monies to be able to do these things? This is just a start to problems the county has . Could we have some answer’s
