Supervisors, Port Royal town council to discuss boundaries
The Port Royal Town Council and the Caroline Board of Supervisors will hold a joint work session Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. to discuss the proposed boundary adjustment.
The town wants to grow to be able to bring in more yearly revenue. The boundaries proposed would add a few businesses to the town, including Horne’s and River Haven restaurants.
The supervisors held a public hearing at its Sept. 24 meeting, but pushed off the decision to allow for more discussion with the town during the work session.
The Town Council unanimously supports the change, but the supervisors still have questions.
The meeting is at 6:45 p.m. in the Community Services Center, 17202 Richmond Turnpike, in Milford.
