Supervisors push off Port Royal boundary vote
The Caroline County Board of Supervisors delayed a vote that would change the boundaries of the town of Port Royal.
After several speakers on both sides of the fence, the board scheduled a work session with the Port Royal Town Council for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
At the work session, the two governing bodies will work out potential kinks in the proposed boundary adjustment.
The discussion on the topic, which was during a public hearing, lasted more than an hour.
Last week, the Port Royal Town Council unanimously approved the proposed boundary change.
