School Board appoints two new assistant principals to middle school

The School Board appointed two new assistant principals to Caroline Middle School at Monday’s meeting.

Bruce Cook comes to Caroline from Farmville, where he was a principal and athletic director at New Life Christian Academy/New Life Learning Center, according to a press release.

He has 13 years experience in administration from New Key County, Richmond city, Buckingham County, Amelia County, Fredericksburg and Manassas Park city. He received his B.A. in biology from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in administration and supervision from The College of New Jersey.

Terrie Haley comes to Caroline from Lynchburg city schools, where she was a principal at Dearington Elementary School for Innovation, according to a press release.

She has two years of experience as an assistant principal at Robert S.Payne Elementary. She received her B.A. in in English and Early Childhood from Norfolk State University and a master’s in administration and supervision from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.

Both assistant principals will start immediately.
