Three women charged in drug deal gone wrong, police say
Three Ruther Glen women face charges in what police say was a drug deal gone wrong.
According to Sheriff Tony Lippa, deputies responded to a home Friday on Yorktown Drive in the Lake Caroline subdivision for a reported fight in
Lippa said a couple from King George said they went to the home to buy some pills, but were attacked instead.
A neighbor called the police after seeing a fight going on in the front yard, he said. A male did suffer injuries, Lippa said.
JoAnn Marie Ball, 23, is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of conspiring to commit robbery.
Joann Dale McBride, 63, is charged with two counts of robbery, one count of conspiring to commit robbery and malicious wounding.
Endora Yvette Jaime-Fitting, 43, is charged with two counts of robbery, one count each of conspiring to commit robbery, assault and distribution of a controlled substance.
All three are being held without bond at Pamunkey Regional Jail. A court date is scheduled for Sept. 28.
