Caroline drug bust nets 11 arrests
Eleven people were arrested over the past week as a result of Operation Impact, a year-long undercover drug investigation by the Narcotics unit of the Caroline County Sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Tony Lippa said 11 people are facing charges ranging from distribution of prescription pills to cocaine, heroin and ecstacy.
The following people are facing charges:
Ruther Glen residents Amanda Williams, 24; Randy Stanley, 25; Amy Gammon, 32; and Partlow residents Amie Collison, 29; and Bobby Stanley, 30, are all charged with distribution of narcotic prescription pills.
Lowell Provence, 21, of Woodford; Cristine Barboza, 35; and Anthony Shook, 36, both of Ruther Glen and Stephen Smith, 21, of Mechanicsville are all charged with distribution of heroin.
Dawn White, 35, of Woodford is charged with distribution of ecstacy and Vasco Wilson, 22, of Richmond is charged with distribution of cocaine.
“Investigators have continued following leads in this investigation and have made a significant impact on illegal drug distribution in our community,” Lippa said. ”This investigation has covered a large spectrum of the illegal drug world, involving many different organizations and types of illegal drugs. This operation is not over and more arrests will follow.”
Lippa said 22 suspects have been arrested as a part of Operation Impact so far.
