Four arrested, one wanted after drug raid
Five Caroline County residents are facing cocaine distribution charges after a drug raid this morning.
Caroline Sheriff Tony Lippa said that a search warrant executed at 5 a.m. today led to the arrests of two men and two women in the Macedonia Road area of Woodford.
After an undercover operation, Quincy Howard, 31, was charged with two counts of distributing cocaine—third or subsequent offense; his mother, 54-year-old Vivian Howard was charged with possession of cocaine; and John Lewis, 54, was charged with distribution of cocaine.
As narcotics investigators and the special emergency response team were executing the search warrant at the Howard home, Lippa said Caroline patrol units responded to nearby residences on Macedonia Road and arrested Angela Latney, 35, on one count of distributing cocaine—third or subsequent offense.
All four were transported to Pamunkey Regional Jail.
Investigators reported seizing what they believe to be crack cocaine, numerous crack cocaine smoking devices and more than $500 in cash, Lippa said.
Lippa said a fifth suspect, 38-year-old Corey O’Brien Green, is still wanted on drug distribution-related charges and is the main suspect in the investigation.
Lippa urges anyone who may have information on Green’s whereabouts to not approach Green and to call the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office at 804/633-5400 or the anonymous tip line at 804/633-1133.
