CRASH CLOSES U.S. 1 IN CAROLINE COUNTY
Workers are cleaning up asphalt spill
FREDERICKSBURG – All lanes of U.S. 1 are closed in Caroline County in the vicinity of Ladysmith Road (Route 639) following a vehicle crash and an asphalt spill.
The roadway is expected to remain closed for an additional 1 to 2 hours.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, including Interstate 95. Virginia State Police are on the scene assisting with traffic control.
No delays are currently reported.
