Sheriff’s report

  • On May 16, 2011, Deputy A.E. Smith responded to a call in the Woodford area.  Upon further investigation, Danielle Ashley Galloway, 21, of Woodford was charged with malicious wounding. She was held without bond and has a May 17, 2011 court date.
  • On May 16, 2011, Sergeant C.A. Heywood responded to a call for motorist assistance. Upon further investigation, Stephanie L. Reilly, 60, of Locust Grove, VA, was charged with driving under the influence.    She was held on a $1,500 unsecured bond and has a May 25, 2011 court date.
  • On May 16, 2011, Deputy C.S. Wooldridge responded to a single vehicle crash.  Upon further investigation, Sarah A. Kostelink was charged with driving under the influence and underage possession of alcohol.  She was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond and has a May 25, 2011 court date.
  • On May 16, 2011, Deputy J.O Cecil responded to a call in the Ruther Glen area.  Upon further investigation, Jessica L. Cooper, 23, of Ruther Glen, was charged with felony destruction of property.  She was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond and has a June 6, 2011 court date.  A second individual, Tiarra Rowland, 19, of Ruther Glen, was charged with misdemeanor destruction of property.  She was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond and has a June 6, 2011 court date.
  • On May 18, 2011, Deputy C.M. Hall responded to a call in the Ruther Glen area.  Upon further investigation, a female juvenile was charged with assault & battery.  A court date is pending.
  • On May 18, 2011, Deputy J.K. Miller conducted a routine traffic stop.  Upon further investigation, Glenn J. Flanagan, 47, of Ruther Glen, was charged with child neglect and driving while suspended – 5th offense.  He was held without bond and has a May 20, 2011 court date.
  • On May 19, 2011, Deputy C.J. Ryan responded to a larceny call in the Rappahannock Academy area.  Upon further investigation, Michael S. Gilley, 46, of Rappahannock Academy, was charged with grand larceny.  He was held on a $2,500 secure bond and has a May 20, 2011 court date.
  • On May 19, 2011, Deputy R.J. Anderson encountered a male juvenile.  Upon further investigation, petitions were obtained for disorderly conduct.
  • On May 20, 2011 Deputy S.A. Smith responded to a grand larceny call in the Ruther Glen area.  Upon further investigation, Julio C. Polio-Alvarez, 18, of Ruther Glen, was charged with grand larceny.  He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and has a pending court date.

Caroline County Sheriff’s Office Wrap Up

According to Sheriff Tony Lippa, Caroline Deputies made 8 drug arrests, 2 DUI arrests, 3 domestic violence arrests, 110 other criminal arrests and issued 14 animal control summons or arrests during the past week.  The deputies served 229 civil papers, issued 141 traffic summonses, handled 13 motor vehicle crashes, responded to 16 alarm calls, and dealt with 12 juvenile offenders.  The Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched 457 calls for service and handled 1,817 telephone inquiries.  The CCSO also logged 35 calls assisting outside agencies and had 383 self-initiated calls.

  • On May 01, 2011, Deputy W.M. Jones responded to a breaking and entering in the Ruther Glen area.  Upon further investigation, James W. Jones, 25, of Ruther Glen, was charged with unlawful entry and attempted grand larceny. He was held without bond and has an May 02, 2011 court date.
  • On May 05, 2011, Deputy S.L. Chapman conducted a routine traffic stop. Upon further investigation, Mary L. Provencher, 73, of Ruther Glen, was charged with driving under the influence.    She was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond and has a May 18, 2011 court date.
  • On May 05, 2011, Deputy C.J. Ryan responded to a call in the Ruther Glen area.  Upon further investigation, Jason E. Tucker, 20, of Ruther Glen, was charged with malicious wounding.  He was released on a $3,500 unsecured bond and has a May 11, 2011 court day.  Also involved, Joshua C. Cawthorn, 18, of Aylett, was charged with destruction of property.  He was released without bond and has a May 6, 2011 court date.
  • On May 06, 2011, Deputy C.M. Hall encountered Lourdes J. Funez-Antunez, 18, of Ruther Glen.  Upon further investigation, she was charged with inducing a child to be absent from school and for delinquency of a minor.  She was released on a summons and has a May 13, 2011 court date.

Caroline County Sheriff’s Office Wrap Up

According to Sheriff Tony Lippa, Caroline Deputies made 5 drug arrests, 3 DUI arrests, 5 domestic violence arrests, 94 other criminal arrests and issued 19 animal control summons or arrests during the past week.  The deputies served 202 civil papers, issued 186 traffic summonses, handled 5 motor vehicle crashes, responded to 14 alarm calls, and dealt with 2 juvenile offenders.  The Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched 527 calls for service and handled 1,787 telephone inquiries.  The CCSO also logged 44 calls assisting outside agencies and had 291 self-initiated calls.

  • On April 23, 2011, Deputy J.O. Cecil conducted a routine traffic stop.  Upon further investigation, Chelsie R. Rodgers, 18, of Fredericksburg, was charged with possession of marijuana and for defective equipment. She was released on summonses and has an April 29, 2011 court date.
  • On April 22, 2011, Deputy C.J. Ryan conducted a routine traffic stop. Upon further investigation, Justin M. Higgs, 22, of Ruther Glen, was charged with driving under the influence.    He was held on a $1,000 secured bond and has a May 11, 2011 court date.
  • On April 22, 2011, Deputy R.L. Hixson conducted a routine traffic stop.  Upon further investigation, Stephanie M. Farrar, 27, of Marbury, MD, was charged with possession of marijuana.  She was held on a $2,000 unsecured bond and has a May 2, 2011 court date.
  • On April 26, 2011, Sergeant C.A. Heywood encountered Christopher A. Bridges, 38, of Marietta, GA.  Upon further investigation, he was charged with driving under the influence – 2nd in 10 years.  He was held on a $1,000 secured bond and has an April 27, 2011 court date.
  • On April 27, 2011, Deputy F.L. Brennan responded to a property damage call in the Woodford area.  Upon further investigation, a male juvenile was charged with destruction of property.  A May 6, 2011 court date was set.
  • On April 27, 2011, Deputy C.S. Wooldridge responded to a larceny call in the Ruther Glen area.  Upon further investigation, Sean M. Stacey, 33, of Homestead, FL, was charged with grand larceny. The individual was also wanted in Florida for a felony probation violation.  He was held without bond and has an April 28, 2011 court date.
  • On April 30, 2011, Deputy M.J. O’Connor responded to the Ruther Glen area for a motor vehicle accident.  Upon further investigation, Harry T. Johnson, 66, of Ruther Glen, was charged with driving under the influence.  He was held on an unsecured bond and has a May 6, 2011 court date.
  • On April 30, 2011, Sergeant C.A. Heywood encountered Martin C. Taylor, 56, of Richmond, VA.  Upon further investigation, he was charged with driving under the influence – 2nd in ten 10 years.  He was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond and has a May 6, 2011 court date.

Caroline County Sheriff’s Office Wrap Up

According to Sheriff Tony Lippa, Caroline Deputies made 4 drug arrests, 4 DUI arrests, 6 domestic violence arrests, 62 other criminal arrests and issued 4 animal control summons or arrests during the past week.  The deputies served 172 civil papers, issued 164 traffic summonses, handled 12 motor vehicle crashes, responded to 28 alarm calls, and dealt with 3 juvenile offenders.  The Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched 595 calls for service and handled 1,703 telephone inquiries.  The CCSO also logged 31 calls assisting outside agencies and had 437 self-initiated calls.Your browser may not support display of this image.

From recent Fredericksburg police reports:

  • Ronald Woolfolk, 51, of Woodford was arrested for possession of marijuana, obstruction of justice, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle
  • Darrec Stewart, 21, of Woodford was arrested on a warrant from Caroline charging him with domestic assault and battery
