Five Bowling Green residents are facing drug charges after a drug bust in Caroline County last week.
Caroline Sheriff Tony Lippa said today that numerous complaints and tips from concerned citizens were coming in about drug activity in the Lakeshore Trailer Park area of Bowling Green. Those tips led to numerous hours of surveillance, undercover work and a search warrant Thursday morning, Lippa said.
Bowling Green residents Lawesley Fox, 32; Charles Fox, 30; Demetric Foxx, 34, Kurt Taylor, 38 and Tia Spoon, 34, are charged with numerous counts of distributing and conspiring to distribute cocaine.
Investigators seized drugs, cash, a handgun, a vehicle and numerous drug distribution-related items, Lippa said.
“Your Caroline Sheriff’s Office is vigilant in the fight against crime. I thank our citizens who continue to provide information and the dedicated men and women of this Sheriff’s Office for their continued efforts to rid Caroline County from drug distribution. Together we are making Caroline County a safer place to live, work and raise a family,” Lippa said.
