AG Cuccinelli selects team to investigate school board election
Attorney General Cuccinelli appoints committee to investigate special election in Caroline County
RICHMOND (November 10, 2010) – Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli announced today that he has formed a committee to investigate the special election on November 2, 2010, for the Caroline County School Board seat in the Reedy Church Magisterial District. Cuccinelli appointed this committee pursuant to a request from the Caroline County Commonwealth’s Attorney pursuant to Va. Code 24.2 § 104.
The committee is composed of Mr. Michael G. Brown, John F. Childrey, Esq., Whitt W. Clement, Esq., and Ashley L. Taylor, Jr. Esq. The committee will meet in Bowling Green on Thursday, November 11, to gather facts to issue a preliminary report to the attorney general as required by law. The meeting is not open to the public.
