Sheriff’s report

On June 18, 2010, Investigator B. L. Fedder received information regarding a

possible assault at Peumansend Creek Regional Jail. On June 25, 2010, after

investigating, warrants were obtained charging Antonio Murray, age unknown, an

inmate at the jail, with malicious wounding. He was ordered held without bond

and a court date of July 16, 2010 was set.

On June 24, 2010, Sergeant S. L. Cary responded to a disturbance at a business

in Ladysmith. After investigating, Wilberto J. A. Flores, 35, of Ruther Glen was

charged with indecent exposure. Bond information was not available and a court

date of July 23, 2010 was set.

Caroline County Sheriff’s Office Wrap Up

According to Sheriff Tony Lippa, Caroline Deputies made 1 drug arrest, 0 DUI

arrests, 10 domestic violence arrests, 126 other criminal arrests and issued 2

animal control summons or arrests during the past week. The deputies served

150 civil papers, issued 78 traffic summonses, handled 14 motor vehicle crashes,

responded to 20 alarm calls, and dealt with 5 juvenile offenders. The Sheriff’s

Office Communications Center dispatched 471 calls for service and handled

1,521 telephone inquiries. The CCSO also logged 38 calls assisting outside

agencies and had 222 self-initiated calls.
