Sheriff’s report

On December 13, 2009, Deputy G. J. Hamilton stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction.  After investigating, Michael Bobrosky, 54, of Woodford was charged with driving on a revoked license and driving under the influence – 3rd offense.  He was ordered held under a $2500 bond and a court date of December 16, 2009 was set. 

On December 13, 2009, Deputy E. S. Gershowitz  responded to a reported larceny in Bowling Green.  After investigating, Cheo M. Rodriguez, 49 and Candace M. Covington-Rodriguez, 29, both of Sandston, were charged with grand larceny.  Both were held on secure bonds and a court date of December 16, 2009 was set. 

On December 15, 2009, Deputy C. M. Polliard stopped a vehicle in Ruther Glen for a traffic infraction.  After investigating, Gregory D. Seward, 60, of Williamsburg was charged with driving under the influence.  He was released on a personal recognizance bond and a court date of December 16, 2009 was set. 

On December 15, 2009, Deputy J. S. Perry responded to a reported employee theft at a business in Carmel Church.  After investigating, Dennise E. Mayne, 34, of Ruther Glen was charged with felony embezzlement.  She was released on a personal recognizance bond and a court date of December 18, 2009 was set. 

On December 16, 2009, Deputy B. N. Doucet, Deputy D. W. Mundie and Investigator B. L. Fedder responded to a report of a Break and Enter of a dwelling in progress in the Ruther Glen area.  After arriving on the scene the Deputies arrested, Timothy Calvin Lee, 18, of Ruther Glen was charged with felony Break and Enter, grand larceny, two counts of conspire to commit a felony He was held with no bond and a court date of December 18, 2009 was set. Also Antonio Michael Monroe, 18, of Ruther Glen was charged with felony Break and Enter, grand larceny, two counts of conspire to commit a felony He was held with no bond and a court date of December 18, 2009 was set. According to Sheriff Tony Lippa, Caroline Deputies made 2 drug arrests, 2 DUI arrest, 1 domestic violence arrests, 141 other criminal arrests and issued 4 animal control summons or arrests during the past week.  The deputies served 159 civil papers, issued 63 traffic summonses, handled 121 motor vehicle crashes, responded to 23 alarm calls, and dealt with 6 juvenile offenders.  The Sheriff’s Office Communications Center dispatched 450 calls for service and handled 2,600 telephone inquiries.  The CCSO also logged 23 calls assisting outside agencies and had 262 self-initiated calls.
