VDOT MEDIA BRIEFING FOR 2009-2010 SNOW SEASON
What:
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) officials will be available to discuss the upcoming 2009-2010 snow season.
When:
Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at 10 a.m.

- Stafford (702) Area Headquarters location – Glenn McMillan, Assistant District Administrator for Maintenance, David Stanley, Fredericksburg Residency Administrator for Stafford, Spotsylvania and King George and Tina Bundy, District Public Affairs Manager.
- Ladysmith AHQ location – Charlie Stunkle, Bowling Green Residency Administrator, David Cooper, Assistant Residency Administrator, Rodney Newton, Maintenance Manager for Caroline, Essex, and King William.

Overview:
VDOT will review snow removal standards, resources and budget . Anti-icing and de-icing procedures will be reviewed followed by a tour of the maintenance facility. Your local VDOT staff will be available to answer your questions about the upcoming winter weather season, provide safe driving tips and the answer to frequently asked questions.
