Caroline deputy honored by American Legion
Sheriff Tony Lippa is pleased to announce that Deputy C. M. Hall was awarded the American Legion Post 221 “Service to the Community” award tonight. Deputy Hall came to the sheriff’s office as a dispatcher in December of 2001. He transferred to a road deputy position in July of 2004. Sheriff Lippa said, “Since his employment began, he has been one of the most dependable, hard working and reliable employees on the staff of the sheriff’s office. I am pleased Deputy Hall was chosen to be recognized.”
Deputy Hall is currently on his second tour as a school resource officer. He has served in that capacity at both the middle and high school here in Caroline. Deputy Hall was recommended by his supervisors and endorsed by Sheriff Lippa.
Awards were also presented to Senior Trooper S. T. Melson of the Virginia State Police and Assistant Chief Jason Satterwhite of the Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department.
