Cowboy Jack’s applies for ABC license

Cowboy Jack’s, a planned restaurant and bar in the Gateway Village shopping center along State Route 3 in Fredericksburg, has applied for its ABC license to sell alcohol.

Cowboy Jack’s is part of a Minnesota-based company called AMG (After Midnight Group), according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.

AMG runs six Cowboy Jack’s locations in Minnesota. The restaurants and bars feature American food, happy hour specials, live music, sports and mechanical bulls, according to their various social media pages.

Little information has been made available about what the local Cowboy Jack’s will include. It will be inside the 5,925-square-foot property at 2312 Plank Road, which was formerly home to Vinny’s and Cafe Davanzo restaurants.

AMG-VA Properties LLC, which bought the building earlier this year, has been doing an extensive renovation on the property. No opening date has been announced.
