  • A Spotsylvania County business off State Route 3 that had been called Karate Brothers is now called Rock Solid Martial Arts & Fitness.
  • Mike Ricks, general manager of the Olive Garden in Fredericksburg, was one of 39 Olive Garden managers in North America to recently receive the Joe R. Lee Diamond Club Award from the chain’s parent company.
  • Spotsylvania-based Plumbing Patrol has changed its name back to Plumbing Police.
  • Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer brokers Jim Ashby and Sharon Schmidt will be handling leasing for the Malone Schooler Co.’s large commercial real estate portfolio. Magnolia Martin, who had handled it previously, is no longer with Thalhimer.
