Three builders sign on at Embreton

At least three home builders will be involved in the new Embreton community off Courthouse Road in Stafford County.

Richmond American Homes, Miller & Smith and Integrity Homes of Virginia all purchased lots in the development last month, according to Stafford property records. Richmond American has already received building permits for a model home there.

It’s unclear if other builders will also buy lots at Embreton, which had been called Embrey Mill before the developers decided to change the name.

Newland Real Estate Group and North America Sekisui House are developing Embreton, which is adjacent to Austin Ridge and between Courthouse and Garrisonville roads. Mine Road is being extended through the development to connect Courthouse and Garrisonville.

Plans for Embreton call for about 1,800 houses, including both single-family houses and townhomes. The developers recently began work on a community center there.
