Golden Corral to open at Carmel Church stop
A Golden Corral restaurant will replace the Patriot Farms eatery at a truck stop in the Carmel Church area of Caroline County.
Pilot Flying J recently purchased the travel plaza on the northeast side of the Interstate 95 interchange and began renovating the property. The facility also includes a Wendy’s restaurant and various amenities catering to truckers such as fueling stations, showers, a lounge and a convenience store.
Pilot Flying J also operates a truck stop on the southwest corner of the Carmel Church exit.
The Golden Corral is expected to open sometime this summer. The restaurant’s only other regional location is in the Massaponax area.
